Shampoos, Haircuts, and Blow-dry Services

All haircut and blow-dry services come with a complimentary consultation and therapeutic shampoo. Our consulting hair stylist will recommend the services that best suit you and your goals. A private hair styling station is available upon request.

Women's Shampoo, Haircut, and Blow-dry

At Special FX Salon & Day Spa, we believe in providing services that meet all of our clients' needs. Women can schedule appointments for a haircut; haircut and blow-dry; and shampoo and blow-dry. Whether you are in a hurry, need a professional look for an event, or a whole new style, we are confident that our team of trained hair stylists can enhance your appearance.

Men's Haircut

Our day spa in Campbell offers our San Jose and other south Bay Area male clients an atmosphere where they can unwind. All of the hair stylists at our salon are skilled in men's haircuts and can achieve the length, style, and shape you desire. Sit back, relax, and a enjoy a soothing shampoo before your new haircut.

Children's Haircuts

Our salon and day spa accommodates children. Young children should be accompanied by an adult during their appointment.

Haircuts for children under 13 start at $15.00.

Updos

Our professional hair stylists can create beautiful updos and hair styling for special occasions such as proms, weddings, and other events. Whether you have a particular style in mind that you would like our hair stylists to recreate or want a professional opinion on the looks that will suit your individual features and your dress, we can help.

The cost of our updo services range from $55.00 to $100.00, depending on the length of hair and detail of work that is involved.

Deep Conditioning Treatment

Dry and damaged hair can appear brittle, tangled, and thin. The deep conditioning treatments offered at our hair salon improve the appearance and health of your tresses in just an hour.

Deep conditioning treatments start at $20 and include a relaxing shampoo.

Color

Semi or permanent color can be used to correct or enhance your natural or current hair color. Whether you want to go redder, browner, or blonder, we have a range of shades for you to choose from. Highlights/Weaves

Highlights, or weaves, are used to complement your hair color. At Special FX Salon & Day Spa, we can dramatically alter your appearance with highlights, or provide subtle enhancements. Our hair stylists will consult with you prior to treatment to determine the color, depth, and amount of highlighting you desire.

Full weaves start at $100, and the full head of hair is highlighted during your appointment. Top weaves start at $85, and only the top layers of hair are highlighted during your appointment.

Permanent Waves

Permanent waves, or perms, can be used to permanently curl you hair for up six months. Residents of San Jose and the surrounding communities of Saratoga, Los Gatos, Almaden, and Morgan Hill can schedule an appointment at our hair salon with one of our stylists to create a new look or touch up your current look.

Permanent waves start at $85.00. Longer, thicker hair can incur additional cost.

Permanent Spiral Waves

Spiral perms keep your locks coiled in perfect waves for up to six months. This treatment has recently gained popularity, and our hair stylists are expertly trained in this technique.

Permanent spiral waves start at $120.00

Professional Straightening

While women with straight hair often want curly hair, women with curly hair often want straight hair. At Special FX, you can have it both ways. We offer professional straightening to our curly-haired clients who want to have sleek, straight hair.

Straightening starts at $85.00. We also offer Japanese style permanent straightening for $100.00 per hour.
