How Do I Prepare for the Airbrush Tanning Treatment?

To achieve the best results, you should shave and exfoliate your entire face and body the day before coming in for your airbrush tanning appointment. The day of your appointment, your skin should be freshly cleaned and you should avoid wearing make-up, lotion, perfume, deodorant, or any other face and body products. After your airbrush tanning appointment, you should not take a shower for at least four to six hours.

What Areas of My Body Can I Have Airbrushed?

All surfaces of the skin can be airbrushed to give you a golden tan and create more definition in certain areas of the body. Airbrush tanning techniques can be employed to give you more detailed abs, highlight your cheekbones, or make your thighs appear thinner. In fact, the effects of airbrush tanning can make you look up to 10 pounds lighter.

How Long Do Results Last?

In order to extend the life of your tan, you should follow the preparation instructions outlined above, and maintain your tan by lightly towel drying your skin after bathing and applying moisturizer daily. The results of airbrush tanning typically last from four to seven days.

Is it Safe?

The ingredients contained in airbrush tanning products have been extensively tested by the FDA and are safe for consumer use. Tanning in the sun or in tanning beds, however, is associated with an increased incidence of skin cancer. Airbrush spray tanning is a safer alternative that can provide you with same rich color you would get after spending a week in the Bahamas.
